dudes be like “are you an autobot or a decepticon? ;-)”

I be like “That’s a loaded question assuming that all continuities give both factions similar values between the different incarnations; but I identify very strongly with the anti-establishment concepts presented in the pre-war Decepticons of the aligned continuity, as well as MTMTE’s pre-clampdown Decepticon ideals despite the parallels to the fall of communist Russia, and the statement “You are not your alt-mode” has resonated strongly with me since it’s initial introduction. While I can appreciate the struggle and ambitions of the present day Autobots and fully understand that present-day Decepticons have abandoned their faction’s initial values, whatever the continuity in particular may have made them, I still find the initial premise of the Decepticon cause in most series to be one so noble that I don’t believe it is worth abandoning despite the way it has degraded over time”

I was just talking to my friend about this. The lies that are forced to us as children. How from the beginning we are programmed to think that we are inferior and meek. Through filtered education and calculated advertising.

I honestly thought that only people from other parts of the world believe that America is the land of freedom, wealth and equality. Growing up we “knew” that in America people are rich, live well, everyone has equal rights because there are so many people of different races and nationalities. I was recently surprised to learn that America is, in fact, not the “perfect” country and not the “good guy” of the world. I honestly believed that it’s only other nations who are telling those pretty stories, but apparently America is lying to its own people.

And I thought MY country is shit well at least my country admits that it’s screwed up and that there’s loads of fixing to do.

Honestly… growing up in America and then becoming more aware of the world is really surreal and actually confusing at first. The “land of the free” thing is just so beaten into you that you sort of have this idea that the rest of the world isn’t free. Like, you pretty much believe the US is the only place with personal liberty. You wonder what it must be like to live in a not free country. And it’s just… not true. But the extent to which they BEAT into your head that America is the country of FREEDOM is so disturbing.

I know this is morbid but I need a way for someone to die where the lingering effects of it will carry on into their next life.

Still need ideas. What would be the lingering effect in the next life of someone who is crushed? I think I have the rest of them figured out.

Severe asthma or other breathing problem so they constantly feel out of breath/like their chest is being crushed?
