#29?

29. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

Hum, interesting. Although, actually, yeah I do know what that would be.  I’ve always had a bunny that hops around for a sequel for The World’s Translated Thus by Abyssal1.  The ending just has so much interesting potential to it!

(Sorry if there’s so many!!) Starcrossed, 3-4-6-7-14, Delicacy 12, The Most Unlikely of Events 2-15 Did Jazz ever shared pictures or images captures of his version of the mechs he lived with before being transported to the alternated universe, to those directly concerned? Like BaySideswipe with Sides and Sunny, or Prowl and Prowl, etc?

What’s my favorite part of the fic?Starcrossed (spoilers, obvs):

3 – What’s the part of the fic I’m most proud of?

The OCs, actually.  That was the fic that really made me enjoy the creation of original characters and the fact that readers grew just as fond of them as I was still makes me incredibly proud.

4 – What part of the fic was the hardest for me to write?

Radiance’s death.  We talked and talked and talked about finding a way for him to not have to die but there really wasn’t one.  Not for where the story needed to go.

6 – Who’s my favorite character in the fic?

Wah.  Um.  …Whiplash?  Oh, or Wheeljack… I love Wheeljack in that story.

7 – Were there any major decisions I made about the fic that could have made it go a whole different direction?

Well, Radiance wasn’t supposed to be a romance option, he was originally supposed to fill the role that Whiplash eventually does, as Jazz’s tutor.  You can see hints of this in his first scene before he began to tell us more about himself and we realized the hard exterior wasn’t the whole story.  Mirage had originally been intended as their romance option to form a triad later in the war, so Radiance coming in obviously really changed that, and Mirage  being with Jazz and Prowl would have changed a LOT.

14 – If I were to write a sequel to this fic, what would it be about?

Hmm, it’s already kind of a sequel to itself … I’m not sure, actually.  We did toss around the idea (and even started writing) of writing a fic of what the twins experienced growing up.  I’d probably tackle that.  But for a sequel… I’d want to focus on the first two creations, Luminous and Nocturne.

Delicacy:

12 – Did any thing about this fic’s reception surprise me?

I don’t think I was surprised, necessarily, because I knew that it was a solid piece, but the fact that so many people were able to love it despite the extreme darkness surprised me.

Most Unlikely of Events:

2 – What’s my favorite part of the fic?

The cultural differences we explored with it and the discrimination that Jazz faced.

15 – Any other question about the fic! – Did Jazz ever shared pictures or images captures of his version of the mechs he lived with before being transported to the alternated universe, to those directly concerned? Like BaySideswipe with Sides and Sunny, or Prowl and Prowl, etc?

He showed Prowl to Prowl, and definitely Ratchet and Wheeljack and Optimus with their respective selves.  Sideswipe, probably not… Though you know, it’s possible that it happened over time.  Explaining the twin thing to him might be a little strange.  Oh, and Ironhide, he would have shared Ironhide.
